Northwest Scotland and far northwest Ireland will experience thick cloud, light rain or drizzle, and strong winds throughout the day. Further southeast, it will be dry and bright with long sunny spells, especially over central and southern England and South Wales, where winds will be mostly light. Maximum temperatures will range from 6°C in the southeast to 10°C in the northwest.

A dry night is expected for most areas, with clear skies over England and Wales. Cloudier conditions will persist elsewhere. Minimum temperatures will drop to 2°C in England and Wales, leading to patchy frost and fog in some areas, while staying milder at 7-8°C in Scotland and Ireland.
